Article Submissions
We love collaborating with writers to provide great resources and stories for our readers. If you are interested in submitting an article for publication, please read and follow the Article Submission Guidelines. All other submissions, please follow the guidelines below.
Photo Submissions
Each issue of Pets in the City Magazine features photos of your pets! Send a photo of your animal companion(s) for a chance to be published. To submit photos of your pets for publication consideration, please:
- Attach a high-resolution (300 dpi, about 4 in. x 6 in.) picture to an email addressed to info@petsinthecitymagazine.com.
- Put “PICM photo submission” in the email subject line.
- In the email body, share the name of the animal(s) and the city in which you live.
Rescue Story Submissions
Did you get your pet from a shelter or rescue organization? We want to feature your story in Pets in the City Magazine.
To submit your pet’s story, include the following in an e-mail to info@petsinthecitymagazine.com:
- Your pet’s name
- A short story (500 words or less) about your rescue experience
- High resolution JPEG image of your pet
- “PIC Rescue Story” in the subject line
Goodbye Tribute Submissions
Celebrate your pet’s life by sharing a tribute of her life in Pets in the City Magazine.
To submit an obituary, include the following in an e-mail to info@petsinthecitymagazine.com:
- Your pet’s name and dates of birth and death
- A short tribute (250 words or two paragraphs) honoring your pet’s life
- High resolution JPEG image of your pet
- “PIC Saying Goodbye” in the subject line
